Forging visionary links
During their trip to Europe Jean Leow Tsui Ping and Chang Chia Yang were given an insider's tip: „ You simply must visit the "Ausseerland".“ No sooner said than done, and they took the train to Bad Aussee. When they alighted from the train, they met none other than: Erhard Meier, former Town Mayor of Bad Aussee and delegate of the EU parliament; he promptly helped them to look for accomodation. The two ladies spent some memorable days at MONDI-HOLIDAY. They got to know the region and the locals. Jean Leow Tsui Ping and Chang Chia Yang were overwhelmed by the hospitality.
Best Aussee behaviour
From Novenber 6 - 13, 2004 the two guests spent an Aussee-style holiday week: they were part of the St. Martin procession as well as being the guests of honour at the English Club. The absolute climax was the "Kathrein" dance; traditional "Aussee"music and lots of dancing.
True hospitality
Erhard Meier made a significant contribution to this holiday. His visionary power is beyond the norm. As an ardent believer in the concept of Europe, integration has always been a concern for him. That's why Jean Leow Tsui Ping and Chang Chia Yang left Aussee feeling a strong affinity to the Ausseerland-Salzkammergut region, like old friends. . Click the photos to enlarge.
