Bellevue Alm
A really skiing day in the Gastein valley doesn't have to end when the lifts stop running.
For those who want more: stop off at one of the cosy and convivial Gastein ski lodges.
Our legendary Bellevue Alm is situated right on the "Stubnerkogel" downhill run to the valley. Join the friendly atmosphere in this alpine ski lodge and warm yourself by the open fire with a "Jagatee" - tea with schnapps or a lumbaba. The DJ will get the party going with Austrian hits to sing along to, such as "Schifoan" or "Anton aus Tirol". Loosen up and get down on the dancefloor!
By the way: At 1.000 metres above sea level, the general tone is less formal; everyboby is on first-name terms up here!
If you feel hunger pangs in the evening, try some of the on offer hearty delicacies such as fondue, spare ribs or cheese spätzle, to name just a few. Or how about a night-time toboggan ride on our private flood-lit toboggan run?
If that sounds like too much effort, there are plenty of bars and trendy pubs with live music and like-minded funlovers in Bad Gastein you can go to on your way back to the hotel.
Did you know that the term "après ski" originated in Austria? Cheers, or as the locals say "Prost"!
